1. What type of boat will we be on?
A very comfortable, spacious 50ft catamaran. It is very stable for sleeping because it's got two hulls.
2. How many people on the trip?
Usually about 7-8 (max) people although the boat sleeps 11 comfortably.
3. What age group generally goes on these trips?
A mixture of ages but typically from 35-65yrs.
4. What if I get seasick?
Generally, being seasick is not a big problem as a catamaran is very stable. Winds are usually light and being up on deck usually takes care of any problems.
5. What is the weather/wind like?
A balmy 25 degree days low 20 degrees. Blue skies and hardly any rain. Light winds enough for easy sailing.
6. Do we have a cook on board?
Yes we certainly do. Diane, the owner of the boat has a wonderful Thai cook on board who makes the most delicious home cooked meals.
7. What is the food like?
Mostly Thai food and some western food as well as dining out at some very picturesque restaurants.
8. Is there plenty of space for workshops on board?
The boat is very spacious and can accommodate 5 or so people with computers around a table in the lounge area.

Yes, there are plenty of outlets (Australian power points) to charge electronic devices.

We have a boat laptop for all your emails etc but please feel free to bring your own laptop to download images if you like.
12. Do I need to bring my tripod?
Yes, please bring a lightweight tripod that takes the weight of your camera. We will be doing early morning shoots which will require long exposures. I will bring an extra tripod that can be borrowed if you don’t have one.
13. What equipment do I need to bring?
Your DSLR or point or a compact camera, a couple of lenses, several memory cards, camera manual, couple of batteries, tripod, external hard drive to save your images. I usually bring a hard drive myself where you can save your images if you don’t have one.
